Somehow I blinked and then it was March. Guys, I’ve been going through writer’s block for the ages. I can’t believe my last post here was in the beginning of February. But I’m back and I think I’m back into a creative headspace. So before I blink and it’s Passover, I want to share some fun Purim things with you!
I’ve thought of at least 3 games families can play with these cards, but if you think of any other ideas, share them in the comments below! I’ve also listed the games and their rules on the printables, so you’ll have them when you download the file as well.
1. Charades – Can be played with 2 or more people. Based on the number or players, it can also be played on an individual basis or teams. One player selects a card at random and acts out the word without using sound. First correct guess wins the round.
2. Picture It – Can be played with 2 or more people. Based on the number or players, it can also be played on an individual basis or teams. One player selects a card at random and draws out the word without using letters, numbers, or symbols. First correct guess wins the round.
3. Who Am I? – Can be played with 2 or more people, and is best played on an individual basis. Each player selects a card at random and places the card on their forehead facing out. You can use tape, ribbons, or elastic headbands to do this. Everyone should be able to see each other’s cards. Each player takes a turn asking yes or no questions to discover who or what the card says. The game ends when everyone correctly guesses their card.
I hope you and your friends and family enjoy these fun word games. If you play, don’t forget to tag me on Instagram (@rinoutloud)!
