Black Walnut Spiked Cider

It isn’t fall without apple cider, hot or cold. I tend to prefer mine hot to keep the chill away. Sometimes fall weather doesn’t want to be chilly, though, so I decided to create a new take on an old classic.

Yeah, I went with some of the go-to’s. Bourbon and maple are just so good to apple cider. The secret ingredient here for me is the black walnut bitters. They add lovely nutty undertone to the drink that can’t be described. You’ll just have to take my word for it and try them out.

Not a huge fan of bourbon? Just swap it out for more spiced cider and you’ve got yourself a lovely mocktail.
